MediSin Wheel is so much more than just another Detroit Heavy Rock band.  We are a thinking man's band.  We are a spiritually influenced band, a politically influenced band, and a socially influenced band.  We are poets, soldiers, storytellers, street preachers, and we are also THE definitive Detroit  power groove machine.  We are the fly in the ointment of the politically correct, and a thorn in the side of those who would love to so readily explain us away when they know that they can't.  And we're here to stay, believe that.  This is our work, our call, and we prove that each and every time we get up onstage and burn it down.

Do yourself a favor and take a simple look around you....You know, just turn on the TV or pick up any magazine or newspaper.....what do you see?  Even more important; what do you see thats being sold?:  Ever notice the subtle increase of ads pushing you to take this little pill or that little pill?  Got the blues?  Well you must be chemically imbalanced, here, take THIS, and never mind the side effects. Somebody's getting very very rich off of your personal struggles, somebody has created a market for the ever increasing waves of despair that reverberates all around us... 

So what else do you see within the uber marketing schemes of Popular Culture, those things being sold?  For starters we see the selling of sex to innocent children before they have any CLUE of the responsibilities and potential personal invasion of their delicate and developing psyche's that premature eroticism promotes.  Pop Culture is steeped in it, everything is sex, everything is for sale, everything is temporal.

We see the average Joe and Jane American on divorce number 3 with no clue what happened on numbers 1 and 2, while they DEMAND that we expand the traditional system even more.  Watch the trends, flip thru the local sports pages where the ads are found that are geared toward men on the fence, telling them they can go get another divorce for only $99.95.  Somebody is making big money off that failure.

Turn the page of that same newspaper or change the channel on your TV over to fear, hopelessness, and the inevitable blame game of who's fault it all is.....the rich, the poor, the extremists, the moderates, global warming, global cooling, the nationalists, the socialists, the Christians, the Athiests, the Legalists, the Rich Man, and on and on and on in this ridiculous infinity of chaos.  And make no mistake about it, it is chaos.

 MediSin Wheel is an open, defiant response to all of the above.  We're also a solid, pro level rock band, yes that is true.  Every member in this band has paid their dues over the years on the road and in the studio and every one of us can bring it onstage.  But what's most important to us, is this life, this world, this legacy that we leave behind under the watchful eye of God Almighty and John Q. Public.   We're going to say the things with our songs that we think need to be said.  We're going to position ourselves in the public eye where our convictions lead us.  And all along the way, we're going to Rock Hard. 


We fear no one, we'll take the stage before or after any band anywhere, and we're coming in loud and fast.  Welcome to our world.  Come hang out, see what's new with the band, catch a show, listen to the tunes, buy the CD, and understand the movement.  If this is truly to be a new rebellion, then by all means let's start it here, in Detroit, on the street, where everyday people's voices can still be heard.  Back in the day we had incredibly important bands such as The MC5, Iggy and The Stooges, and Grand Funk screaming out loud on a national scale.  MediSin Wheel is the new chapter of that scream from Detroit, the scream.....rising above the echo of the din.
